My name is De Williams and I live north of San Francisco in Santa Rosa California.  If any time was the "right" time to pursue Tie Dye here, this is it!  The Peanuts Character "Woodstock" is being featured this year and tie dye is going to be part of the whole 60's thing.

Earlier in the year, not knowing about this, I applied to our local Community College to teach a Tie Dye Class for adults.  I was accepted and asked to teach a kids class as well.  I had no problem with the 4 hours I will spend with the adults, but am a bit stumped at filling 3 hours a day for 4 days.  It doesn't take that long to actually tie and dye something!  So I am working on a lesson plan.

I have already learned a huge amount from the memebers of the Internet Tie Dye community!  Thank you all for being here!

Thanks for registering and participating. I teach tie-dye classes too and would love to share ideas and hear what you do. By all means post some lesson plans--even in the draft stage. We can all learn and provide feedback! 12 hours is a lot of time--you can cover an awful lot of ground! How old are the kids?

Also--pop into the wiki and register there--there's a growing body of material being created there!
