I found you guys thru Paula Burch's website....as I did most everything else concerning fabric dyeing.  My name is Rich, I'm from NJ, and I'm just getting started with fabric dyeing.  I tie-dyed a few t-shirts in my younger days (many, many years ago) and I still have 1 shirt left.  It's an old football jersey that I dyed brown.  It's now 36 years old, very faded, too small for me to wear, but I'm keeping it for old times sake.

I'm primarily interested in the low-water immersion dyeing of clothing.  I think I've pretty well exhausted all of the methods/tutorials etc found on the web as well as a few books.  If there's anyone out there who has any insights, suggestions, or words of wisdom please feel free to post them.

My email address is:  zenessene@eml.cc

Welcome to our forum, Rich!  We do have a discussion about LWI under Dyeing Techniques.  I will confess, I rely a lot on Paula's forum and website as well.  Both of these forums have helped me to grow a lot in the last year.  Paula has the basic instructions on her website at http://www.pburch.net/dyeing/lowwaterimmersion.shtml, in case you haven't found that page yet.  I still go back there when I'm working on a LWI project, just to refresh my memory.
Hope this helps, and feel free to jump into the discussion with any questions!

How did you find this forum?
good old google which led to wiki which led to itiedye.com!  I have been building my skills for the last two years.  I have a tum-tum-guitars photobucket display which is hugely unorganized.

I googled folds and I believe there were several paths to here...one from Paula's site and one from Wikipedia, as well as others that I simply have no recall on.
