I was wondering how important it is to have Wool Assist SBS (sodium bisulfate) while dyeing some wool  with Fiber reactive dye.

I don't mind if it looks variegated  or has a tiedyed random look to it.

I'm trying to avoid another order/ shipment fee, if i can.

Thanks,
Helena

Not being a wool dyer myself and being someone who likes to simplify my dye steps I say if you can get it done with out it and are not in need of the perfectly uniform end result, skip it.
