I must say that I am a little intimidated also  embarassed

My name is Jen and I've been dying since I was a teen, but never consistantly or the 'right' way.  I make baby blankets and recently had a special order for tie dye and jumped back in, gloved hands first.  I was  searching for the oh so elusive Mandala instructions and happened upon Paula's site one night and spent hours reading the fourm questions and discussions.

When I thought I couldn't learn anymore I found you guys!  I'm so glad to come upon so many talented people with so much information to share!  I've done alot of stuff for my kids and am making a little with some projects on eBay.  I hope some day I'll be able to share my 'knowledge', but I still feel like such a novice!  I'll sit back and absorb what I can from you guys and I'll try to keep the stupid questions to myself.

Welcome! Some of the tapestry folding instructions are on the wiki. I'm sure one of us will add some mandala instructions sometime soon. I've been rather busy with closing out the school year and haven't done as much as I should in terms of adding info.

Nonetheless, if you want mandala instructions, check out Michael Fowler's or Tom and Martine's DVD. Both have instructions for different kinds of mandalas.

Hi, Jen, and welcome to our group! Please do ask questions, that's what this place is all about!  I've been tie-dyeing for 8 years and I still come up with questions, which I post here and get lots of helpful feedback on.  I have been so jazzed by the creative energy, as well as the technical discussions found here.  It keeps me trying new things and sharing the results.  I hope you find it to be a fun resource to grow with.

Later,

Judy
