I need to extend a band of color farther up an already dyed shirt.  It is pink with a band of chocolate brown around the hem.  My client wants a larger band of brown.  I've only ever worked with pre-activated t's.  How do I activate the dye so I don't have to re-activate the whole shirt?  If I dye dry, I will expect a lot more abosorption correct?

I'm sorry, I know I've read this somewhere but I've read sooooo much over the past week I can't remember where to find anything anymore.  I've started taking notes, lol!

SB, unless you want brown bleed or seperation of your brown, it might be helpful to wet the fabric at the outermost edge of where you want brown saturation.  The dye applied to dry fabric can move rapidly, the fabric acts as a wicks, if you will.  Banding won't stop it (all) so using water to stop this wick effect can help better keep your originally defined edge.
