Hey,

I've only been tiedying for a couple of months, so I have alot to learn.  I'm currently working on some shirts for a VW bus campout I'm hosting next month.

Here is the link to the campout's webpage. http://www.kampenfoolz.com/ridesofmarch/

Here is a link to a photo of one of the shirts I've already dyed.

It's nothing great, but my wife at least likes it.  I'll be looking forward to learning from  the experienced dyers in this group.

Thanks.

Hey Sal, your shirt is great! I like the colors *and* the amount of white.

Take it easy

That's whats important Cheesy

But seriously, I don't think it is necessarily how long you've been tie-dyeing but how you approach it. Though experience is helpful in as far as technique goes, it is really the open mind of letting the piece create itself that can bring about the beauty and uniqueness of the item. This is something you can have from the get-go and something I bet some of the most experienced dyers don't have.

Quite honestly, my 4yr old has done a couple of pieces that I thought were truly great and if they had been pieces for sale they would sell great. I'd say I couldn't do ones so nice and unique if I had planned it, and it is precisly the "plan it" mentallity that hinders the creativity of some dyers.

O.K. diatribe over...Have a happy Sunday Cool
