Good to see another place for tie dyers to meet. It's amazing the virtual communities we have now - running into the same and different people at different locations on the net....

Anyway, I'm another refugee from Mike Fowler's tie-dye.com - that was my first introduction to this online community, and I think it's just great.

Myself, I've been dying for about 5 years now, mostly for friends and family and to sell at our local town fair. I've been branching out a bit in the last couple years as my teenage daughter has been selling her hand-made jewelry, and doing craft shows has gotten to be something we can do together.

Lately, I've been doing some low-immersion dying and then embellishing with beads, sequins, and embroidery. I'll post something as soon as I learn how to use the server space at my new internet provider.

Take it easy

Hi, Sue!  Glad you made it over here!  I am also anxious to see what you've been doing along the lines of embellishment.  I have done one tie-dye with sequins, and keep saying I'm going to do others, but can't seem to get the time right now.  I'm sure I will be inspired when I see yours or other member's efforts!
