Has anyone ever tried to tie a raven silhouette?  How did it come out?  I really want to try this and I'm looking for pitfalls to avoid.

Thanks,
Anna

Have you ever tried any outlined shape before, such as a heart? You might want to start with something simple.

(Are you thinking of a raven that is flying, or standing?)

Hi, yes I've done hearts, stars and aliens (and their spaceships), so I was going to try something else.

Hi!  I do a whale tail sticking out of the water, and some people, when they first look at it, think it is the silouette of a raven or eagle without a head.  I've thought of modifying it so that it looks more raven-like.  It is sort of a totemic headless raven, like it would be easier to modify it into an angel or some sort of winged goddess.  I've added a goddess shape to my repetoire lately, so perhaps the winged goddess is the next step!  If you would like to see a pic of the headless raven/whale tail, I can take one next time i'm down at the gallery.

peace,
nicole

There's a band out on the highway.
They're high-steppin' into town.
They're a rainbow full of sound.
It's fireworks, calliopes and clowns --
Everybody's dancing!

Thanks Nicole,

Thanks for giving me a place to start.  I can imagine a whale tale at least, then I'll try modifying it.  I'd love to see a pic of your whale shirt, when you get a chance.

Thanks,
Anna
