A phone number and  a possible alternative e-mail address for Fashion Blanks were posted on the Dye Forum on my site in August, but I don't know if anyone ever tried the phone number. Neither e-mail address works at all. It's possible that they've gone out of business, or maybe they just aren't attentive to their web site.

Thanks Paula.  I will search back and look.  I tried to get a phone # but couldnt locate one on the site and did a search in the yellow pages in their area and still no luck.  I assume they are out of business.  Worth a try though cool

I went to Alegre Fashions warehouse today.  They do not keep many things on hand but they do have really good quality stuff.  I saw the rib knit and was pleased.  Only problem is you have to order 12 per size for many of the children's things.  As far as the women's and adult, I think they do make more of those and some can be purchased in smaller quantities.
For all interested it is worth a look.
Hope it helps, keri.

I received an email today from the company that bought out Fashion Blanks, MAXeb.com. I've posted the new contact info on the Dye Forum.

If anyone tries them, please post about your experiences, good or bad.

I got a letter yesterday from Broder Bros., who I have bought from before.  They were asking for any suggestions as to how they could improve their service.  I wrote back asking them to consider carrying more craft-oriented blanks from suppliers such as Alegre or other makers who have a good selection.  With Alegre, there are piece minimums.  Through someone like Broder Bros., you can buy fewer pieces at a better per-piece price, since they have a larger client base.  They are going to look into the possibility of becoming a distributor, so I will keep you posted if I hear more from them.  I told them I had contacts with crafters all over who are starving for good blank suppliers... that should motivate them, don't ya think?
