Hey everyone im new to tie dying and my senior prom is coming up. I really wanna do something this year to make prom unforgettable so i was thinking about buying a white suit and then having my friend who is pretty good at tie dye help me do it. I was just wondering if a material like linen or w/e the suit is would actually tie dye and not just mess up the suit? any help anyone can provide would be much appreciated, thanks.

You could not tiedye a mens suit, even a natural fiber suit - It would ruin the suit.
I have seen all cotton, unlined sport coats that could possibly be dyed and there are lots of all cotton men's pants out there too.
Perhaps you could get a light colored suit (any fiber) at a second hand store and paint it.

I agree that a suit would be difficult, since there is so much lining and interfacing inside the suit.

Maybe you could tie dye the dress shirt that you wear under the suit. That would be cool to see! Dress shirts are usually cotton anyway.
