I was browsing the web for mandala instructions after 11girl's recent inquiry (separate topic), and stumbled into Michael Fowler's site!  Yes, technically the site is down...if you go to tie-dyed.com you reach a commercial site with lots of cool shirts but very little actual tie-dye.

But...if you go in the back way, via http://tie-dyed.com/index.html, you can still access a few of the instructional/informational pages (including mandalas), albeit sans photos.  I'm not sure how this is possible, since the domain name appears to be owned by someone else now, but if you've been yearning for some of this lost info, get it while you can.

I believe he still owns the domain. He has gotten into online retail apparel sales via amazon. If you check that store is an Amazon site. What he does is offer whatever "tie-dye" his suppliers offr on that site.

I was able to find stuff too. And you may find more at archive sites.
