 I made this
and just mixed like a 1/2 teaspoon with mostly superclear and a little water. It came out REALLY thick and black. Is there a " formula/method/recipe(best option)" to mix the black part???
Will this work with other colors than black? Say if I used turquoise would it create diffent colors throughout the swirl? Or is this something I need to try?Huh?

That shirt looks awesome. Your dyeing skills have developed quite a bit since you first started.

I always use premixed blacks since they are easy to come by. You can mix black by using primary colors, but I'm not sure what combinations and proportions to use. You can probably play around with the Olli's dye applet to get some clues. (thanks to a link Paula gave me once)

Thanks. I'm wondering the ratio of dye powder to superclear to water. I have new black( I think) I also have charcoal gray. Would that work in the same design also? Just wondering if anyone has tried using different colors in a pattern like this one?
