Avatars and Rankings

How do you all feel about these? I have mixed feelings, but it doesn't matter much to me. We can do that if you like.

Said yes to both. I like avatars 'cuz they can be purty

I see rankings as a way to recognize a members participation in the community. Not in a "Ha, Ha I have more posts than you!" way but in a manner that shows who might have mre experience and knowledge about the goings on and function of the community in general.

Don't know if that makes sense. Its not a one-upper thing to me but a knowledgable reource type of thing.

Though, it would be neat to have something more unique than "New Member" "Member" "Sr. Member"

This merchant account/shopping cart thing is making me a little crazy.
