O.K. just wondering what the best type of cotton T is for stamping and painting. I would assume it would either be ringspun or jersey. Rib(even baby) seems to be too textured to get a good print.

A little late, Kathy~ but yes, you want interlock ~ jersey or ringspun, not ribbed ~ ribbed will work but the design gets pulled open.

And.. even later (and a newbie to boot)... I've had excellent results on 1x1 rib with printing and stamping, but nothing wider will do well. 1x1 rib simply looks like the outside/front of a tshirt, but on both sides of the fabric. I try to avoid interlocks because some have a tendency to get thick, almost felty looking, when washed. They also stretch in all directions, so if you're sewing something out of it, use a pattern size smaller than you normally would, and expect unusual results. Smiley
