SPAM--Please help!

we had an outbreak of spam awhile back. I found that a number of accounts were "dummy" accounts set up to hoist their garbage on this site. I went through and deleted any suspicious accounts, and it died.

We has one incident of Spam in recent days in which some "shoe" guy simply quoted a post to it would show his "sig" with links to his 4-5 sites which were in no way related to what we are about.

The account is deleted. I also went through and deleted a few other accounts that "looked" suspicious. My apologies if I made any mistakes.

Please be vigilant for such posts and email me immediately.

I found two weird posts from two accounts that were clearly probes by spammers. I deleted both and banned the ip address (they came from the same ip).

Please be vigilant and help me by messaging or emailing me when you see posts that look like encyclopedia articles.
