I'm new to tie dying and just did my first t- shirt today at school for an extra credit project. The thing is to get the extra credit I've got to wear the shirt tomorrow. What would be the minimum time I could go before doing the rinse and wash thing?

As a rule of thumb, 8 hours minimum in a warm place, wrapped in plastic to create the 'greenhouse' effect.  Don't know where you are, but by now you can rinse/wash/dry if you haven't already done so.

Yeah, I washed it last night. I think it was about eight hours though, and I think it turned out pretty good for my first one!
