Rebekah, I like your work. I can't get those spirals at all and especially the stain glass look.
I need to learn so much.

Thank you so much!!  And I am really in the learning phase too!  I haven't mastered anything yet, but I'm still working on it Smiley

I've been dying for a few years now and rarely does a piece turn out the way I imagined it would. Tie dye is not that kind of an art unless you do the exact same process repeatedly. I think your spirals are very nice. I especially like your use of brown and the deep green and brown paired with turquoise (that's one of my favorites) I'd say put them away and look at them again later, or if your baby will grow out of them by then, you could always dye them over with the same fold or just scrunch them up and dye them again that way. Keep going! Peace, Marg

Thanks, Marg!  That's very encouraging Smiley  I've put them away for now, and will get them out in a few weeks and decide what to do.  I'll definitely repost pics if I decide to work on them any more.

I did a blooper this week: folded a onesie to do a mandala on it and apparently I got sidetracked..... I went and tied the thing n the sides AWAY FROM the center fold!  rolleyes Half the design is on the right side just above the waist, and the other part is on the left.

Maybe it'll have a nice slimming effect..... like how many parents would look for that in a onesie?  cheesy

Oh, I haven't even attempted anything nearly as complicated as a mandala - too chicken for that right now!!!  cheesy

It was supposed to be just an experiment anyway, but still.....

When I say "mandala" I mean a pretty simple one. I look at it the same way I'd do paper snowflakes, just fold and tie instead of cut. Nothing complicated here, though!!!!
