O.K. all...
I am going to start putting together some tutorials on folds and would like to hear from ya'll what you would like to see. I'll be putting out some basic ones i.e. spiral, heart etc, but if their is one that especially troubles you post it here and I'll get on it.

I just want to reiterate Kathy's offer and make the offer myself. I am finally going to do some dyeing over spring break, so I can take some pictures and write something up. I might even be able to do some short videos through my digital camera (no sound though Sad )

Any folds in particular?

Anything else you would like to see?

I would love to know how to make a peace sign.

I have a page on this, with illustrations for the sewn type but not the folded type, here:

It obviously needs fold instructions, as well, sorry.

True Tie Dye's DVD, Advanced Tie Dye Techniques, does an excellent job of showing exactly how to tie-dye a peace sign by the fold method.

How to fold a peace sign is not in the Tie Dye Wiki yet, but once it's there, I'm sure a link will be placed here.

I have done the peace sign as demonstrated by Tom & Martine in their video, and it came out pretty clear, but it was a little daunting to achieve the ties:

I recently decided to do a version where I stitched the design using a running stitch.  It was easy to create the shape, but more difficult to dye.  Here is the result:

As you can see, the lines are pretty sketchy, and I ended up with a pretty wide band of white outside the symbol.
