I've been asked about shirts with crosses, but I've never done one! Managed a nice X, but not a cross that doesn't go off the edges of the shirt.

I did find an old post here with a little info, but if anyone has any step-by-step directions, or pictures would be great - I'm very much a visual learner - it'd be really helpful. Nothing on the Wiki - yet!  wink wink wink

There are lots of different ways in How to dye a cross pattern.

The best way, I think, is to draw the outline, fold in half, and follow the line, as for tie-dyeing a ribbon shape.
