I don't believe in those formulas. It's never going to be the same thing as Synthrapol, and besides, you don't
have to have Synthrapol or one of its generic equivalents.
The real key to washing out after dyeing with fiber reactive dye is 1, let the dye react longer than necessary, say overnight at 70°F or warmer, so that there is no unreacted dye left to cause backstaining, and 2, use really hot water (140°F or higher) to do your washing out, after first doing one cycle in cold water without detergent.
For washing out, ordinary laundry detergent will work, and for acting as a wetting agent, a single drop of Dawn will do, without any rubbing alcohol. If you want to avoid using detergent with optical brighteners, you can find that locally, but there's not all that much point unless the garments are going to continue to be washed in brightener-free detergent.
