i did a tapestry for the first time last night on muslin cotton. i didnt think it was going to turn out very well.

I think it's awesome! There was one time the same thing happened to me. I was making some socks for Christmas. I was using red and green, and we all know that those two colors together make mud. Well, on the socks that I separated the colors, there were white spots, which I didn't care for. On the pair that looked muddy while wet, all the mud colors washed out, and the red and green were stunning right next to each other.

That's the beauty of tie dye. You never know exactly what it will look like until it's washed and dried.

Lovely design - I like the way how vivid colors are in a delicate pattern in the neighbourhood of almost solid violet.
