Hey:
I tie-dyed a Rainbow Corner Burst T-Shirt recently, but it ended up with a wide band of yellow/white right across the center of the chest, which made it look somewhat unfinished (unfortunately, I don't have a "BEFORE" picture).
It just didn't look right to me and, not wanting to do a re-dye, I decided to add something else to the chest...
...namely, an iron-on:

I chose the "Ron Jon Surf Shop" logo for a couple reasons:
1. I used to visit there every time I went to Cocoa Beach, Florida on NASA business (waaaaay back in the 80's!) and would buy one of their wild surf-T's as a souvenir.
2. A few years ago, feeling nostalgic, I got another Ron Jon surf-T off of Ebay -
with a wild tie-dye design. It was this T-Shirt that helped ignite my own recent foray into tie-dyeing. So I figured I'd "close the circle" and make one of my own.
Unfortunately, Ron Jon doesn't sell iron-on logo transfers (for the obvious reason that they want to sell their own logo-wear), so I had to download one from the Net, Photoshop it, then print it onto a blank heat transfer.
The result was so good I decided to add the familiar "Cocoa Beach, Fla." script to the back of the shirt:

[I know the text looks fake, but that's an actual photograph of the finished shirt.]
Anyway, "the (tie-dye) circle is now complete"!
