can someone explain to me how to do an indian spiral please? ive looked at the tie dye wiki but it doesnt go into much detail or show any pictures

Draw a diagonal line from the shoulder to the opposite side of the bottom of the shirt. Pleat along the diagonal line with an accordion fold. Bind the pleated portion of the shirt. Apply a spiral to each side of the pleated portion of the shirt with the excess material (instead of leaving unfolded). Bind the spirals.
