In late April I got laid off from my job (yes, let's all watch the newspaper industry crash and burn) and needed something to keep myself occupied while sitting at home with the wife at work. Heaven forbid I get caught up in daytime tv. My wife and I got married in tie-dyes in '08 after going to a music festival and making our own (awesome folks at trydye.com set up every year), and thought I could kill some time that way. So I went out, bought a kit, and went bonkers. Totally addicted. No white in the apartment anymore. Got the wife hooked too. Now we go to flea markets, sell some to facebook friends, anything to fund this obsession! Between this forum, and Paula Burch's site, I have learned soooo much and gotten better than I thought possible in the few short months we've been doing this.
So a huge THANK YOU to all you regular contributors, and I hope I can be of some help someday.
