Thanks for the tutorial!  One question:   in the photos, it looks like you only used one color of dye on each bandana, but the finished photos look like there were two colors, so I'm assuming the pix were taken part way through applying the dyes to show the pattern you used, right?  So Theoretically, multiple colors could be used as in a rainbow swirl?  I have to try this, and just want to get it right!

Yes Judy, I actually applied three colors to these pieces. I was afraid I was getting into too much detail. I'll post the two photos I omitted here. I have found that using at least one light color and at least one dark color does make the pattern show better. Don't be afraid of the dye running into an area that you already have dye on, I find you have to give them a healthy dose of dye to get penetration to the middle of the material.

You have fold it only in quarters, right? And then probably picked wrong place for center of the design.
