Here's my try on a couple of dishtowels done in Brixter's pizza slice spiral.

I like how the dye applied in curves on the spiral come out - very effective.

I did a pizza slice spiral flat sheet last year.

The dye was applied in wedges

Thanks Brixter, for turning us on to another way to apply the dye to that spiral!

Beautiful dyes!  I can't find the original thread where Brixter showed how he dyed his pizza spiral fold.  I'm guessing this is folded into 8ths and dyed using a "v" shape, is that correct?  Lots of folding and tying planned for tomorrow I've been on here for an hour getting inspired.

The section where Brixter shows the fold is in "Fabric, Apparel, Etc > Cotton Fabric, Apparel, Etc. > bandanas".
And Jaja called it a "spiral fold on a pizza slice".
So I thought I'd make the slice it's own section of the forum..........
so much fun.
Thanks again Brixter for curving the dye path (and showing us), and thanks, Jaja, for naming the fold!

If you're still searching, the original discussion with photos of the fold by Brixter is here:

Tired this on a T-shirt.  Cool design but way too much white, will have to keep trying

Nice idea to have own pizza section.  grin
Mine tortured pizza slice was done on quite thick material, so there's not that nice definition as ktaltre has, but you made me find it again.
