I like to use inexpensive white t's for my experiments.  I can always wear them while exercising if they turn out too awful.  There were several available at very moderate prices at Wal-Mart which were cotton and modal.  I googled it and found that it is cellulose from the beech tree.  Has anyone tried to dye it with procion mx?  Thanx for any help

I've done some pillowcases made with birch rayon, which sounds like the same thing, that I found at Bed Bath & Beyond. Nice results. smiley

Definitely have to look for tees made with it - it was so soft on the pillowcases!

I passed up some clearance shirts yesterday because I wasn't familiar with "modal."  I will be heading back to get them tomorrow.  This is why I love this site, someone always has the answers!  cheesy
