Needed to replenish my artificial sinew - went to Dharma's site - they are out of the stuff.
So went poking around on the internet and found this:

http://www.overstock.com/Crafts-Sewing/Half-pound-Natural-color-Artificial-Sinew-Spool/4329803/product.html

Bought some - don't know how long this deal will last, but the dollar shipping is something.
It seems to be the same or relatively the same artificial sinew as what Dharma  and others carry.
I'll let you know.

ten days later...........
got my artificial sinew order from Overstock. yea.......
is very much the same as other artificial i have bought; it is paler, yellowish, same width, same spool size.
made in Taiwan, distributed by Tandy Leather.
i think it got shipped by parcel post - why it took ten days to get to me.
in case anyone was wondering............

You might want to check with tandy leather, they have a couple of styles that are suitable though I prefer one over the other, but you'll save a little and they occasionally have nice sales on sinew.

My search for artificial sinew started when Dharma had none a while back.
I just looked and Dharma now has the flat sinew back in stock.

We get ours from Consolidated Thread Mills -- the number of choices can be intimidating, but prices are good if you're buying large quantities.
