I think most of the grateful dead skulls are Tritik'd.  So get your needle and thread out.  otherwise there is probably an easy way to tie it using string or rubber bands if you try doing it enough times, you are sure to get it or learn something in the process.

I don't have a tutorial made up on it Steve but the ones I've made are once again made much easier using hemostats. Hemos give you the abilitly to fold odd shapes which you can't wrap a rubber band around....also long lines are made easier because you can stop anywhere on a fold line- clip on a hemo and continue right where you left off. I found them on ebay for around a dollar each.

The other method of holding odd shapes is with 'darts'.  You take a bamboo skewer or toothpick and tie a piece of dental floss on one end.  Then you fold your curved line into a straight one, place the dart beside it, and use the floss to loop around a couple of times and tie it off.  The wood keeps the folds from bunching up, and the floss allows for a fine, tight, resist.  You can also initiate the reaction in a microwave (if that is your bag) as you have no metal stats to worry about...   grin

BTW- I love this site!  People these days part with tribal lore that used to be closely-held secrets.  w00t!
