sometimes my bottle will stop squirting and its very frusterating when no matter how hard a squeeze nothing comes out. does anyone know what causes this and how i can fix it?

Happens to me when I don't strain.
Your dye mix is lumpy; the dye particles aren't dissolved so get caught in the spout.
Any dye with fuchsia in it will behave like that - the purples and berries.
Many dyers strain the dye before putting it into the bottle.
I think someone on this list recommended a gold coffee strainer, it's very fine, from Target - I use it.
Some dyers strain through pantyhose in a regular kind of strainer.
I make dye concentrates and store them in the fridge.
When I shake them up to use, if there's dye specks on the inside of the bottle cap, I strain.
If you soak the spout in water, the particle will usually dissolve - or you can stick a pin in the spout to clear.

I don't strain, but I use a dye-dedicated blender when I mix dyes.  I don't have any problems with blocked spouts.
