Hey, Steve.  Just wanted to share something with you... you might already be aware of this.  I spent a little time scanning over a couple of other forums yesterday and today that I thought might be interesting.  What I found was that both have been inundated with offensive spam!  I don't know if you have a way to screen incoming or whether the tie-dye gods have favored you, but this is a very clean, topic-focused forum compared to the ones I saw!  Bless you for that!

I feel pretty lucky not to have been targeted so far. I get some spam submitted via my reply form and a lot more submitted to my list of custom dyers; I even had to set the latter so nothing shows up until I approve it. Nothing so far in the Dye Forum, though.

Thanks! We had gotten quite a few spam registrations for awhile. One even posted before I tracked them down and closed their account--just one though. My new forum software gives me much better tools for doing so. phpBB, the old software had become quite a target for spammers, or so I have heard.

If anyone ever finds something they believe questionable--send me a pm asap!

I also am vigilant about your privacy rolleyes! As soon as a security concern arises, the developers revise the software plugging any holes discovered. It is essential that anyone who runs a forum keep their forum updated to the latest version!
