Much to my mother's chagrin, I really want to dip dye my silk wedding dress blue on the bottom (dark blue then fading to a light aquamarine color up the skirt). Does anyone know where I can do something like this? Everyone is scared of this project. As am I...any suggestions for me?

Thanks!

You can dye it, if it's washable. If it's not washable, forget it. The dress must be washed both before and after dyeing.

It's safer to dye yardage and then hire someone to sew it together, after you make sure the dyeing went as you wanted it to.
